You made interesting photographs of this play, Adela. Where was it? I presume it was in Romanian. Do you know if it was ever translated?
Languages are the essential expression of a culture. They do present huge barriers from time to time, nothing to be done... Knowing only French and English, and a teeny tiny bit of Spanish, I have the feeling from time to time that I know nothing.
The play was at a theater in Bucharest. More about Biloxi Blues: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biloxi_Blues. :) The play was directed by a very well-known Romanian theater director and actress (Iarina Demian) and the second main role was played by her son (Tudor Chirila) who is also a very good actor.
Indeed, the same for me. I would love to speak more foreign languages... I share your feeling about this.
Mi-a aduc aminte de piesa asta.. :D
