The list...

... of things and feelings we need to be happy is different from one to another. 

It is my strong belief that we have to be sincere with ourselves and fight for being happy. We received so many gifts like freedom, love, hope, faith. We received also tears and pain. Because we are alive. Not always it is easy, but I like to believe that everything will be okay in the end... and if it's not okay, it's not the end yet.

Some die at 35 or 40, but are buried at 80... I read it somewhere and I find it so true.

I don't teach lessons nor give advice... I do not judge nor point the finger...

I want to scream out loud to be heard at miles, thousands of miles away, that life is about love. In all forms... 

Love the world, love the rain drops on his forehead, love her smile in the morning, love children, love our parents because they raised us the best way they could and knew, love his hand holding yours when you feel insecure, love her hugging you when you need it the most.

Love him when he is nervous, love her when she sings awfully bad, love books and words and always keep your promises, mostly the promises to yourself. Love music, love him dancing your traditional dances, love her look when saying good-bye in the morning, love your teachers, love your friends because they call every few hours to check on you when they know you are totally crushed. 

Love his way of looking at you at breakfast, love her for massaging your back when it hurts so badly, love animals because humans have so much to learn from them, love studying. Love history because we cannot understand the present without knowing the past, love sports, love chocolate, love colors, love flowers.

Love the ones who love you for who you are and not for what you can do for them, for what you can give them, for what you can help them with.

Love her for complaining that her hair does not look that well when you just love it, love him for saying that he is not addicted to smoking, just that he doesn't want to quit, love fruits and vegetables because they give us energy, love him when staying late at work, love her for being late in front of the mirror sometimes, love the sun, love Mondays, love your health because you are lucky to be so, love tulips and lily of the valley. 

Love words and be careful using them, love surprises, love today and the present, love smiles on anyone's face, love blue and orange and red and yellow, love snow, love the sea.

Love dreams, love her when she's moody, love him because his soon is so different from your soon, love people because each has a beautiful side that deserves to be appreciated, love him for drawing with his hand in the air the infinite sign, love her mascara that is not tear-proof, love his need for speed, love freedom, love life, love letters, love her for loving children and animals, love him for loving them, too.

Love him for being vulnerable, love her for being independent, love him when he cries, love her for being so feminine even in the today world when fighting for same positions, love butterflies, love walking in the park, love laying on the grass, love stars and clouds, love her for sometimes leaving some make-up on your black shirt, love him for who he is and not who you want him to be, love respect, trust and understanding, love the peace and silence of your home, home is where your love is!

Live Your Love!

Life is not white and black, not even for a moment. It has IFs and smiles and tears and then you are alive. Colors make it beautiful.
We have the power to decide. We want to live or we let our soul die, even if our body continues its existence.
The greatest gift we received is Love. Fences are easier to overpass, distance becomes shorter, life has a meaning.
We find the strength in ourselves as long as we love. Nothing is too difficult, nothing is impossible. Sometimes it takes a little bit longer, but Love is a miracle and I do believe that each of us has a Soulmate in this world. We feel when he/she comes, without any doubt.
Not always we understand everything, sometimes we do not understand anything... but we have no doubt.
This is the miracle called Love.

Lucky to love...

If only I could have the eyes to see all the beauty around me. If only I could enjoy all the miracles from day-to-day life. This evening I heard an interview with Queen Ana of Romania. She said something like... Yesterday is past, you cannot have it back... Tomorrow is uncertain, you will see... But you have today and live the moment. Not doing extreme things every day or anything alike, but live your life in present.

From all the gifts we have ever received, love is the greatest one. We make mistakes, we are not perfect, but we have the power to love above everything and anything. And to be loved million times more. Stronger as years go by! 

Those words "together for good and for worse" have a meaning that many forget after years. While they should be present in every answer, every action and reaction, every touch. It's a promise you make with your heart and soul, respect it!

We use to wait for the week to pass so weekend comes, we use to wait for the rain to end so sun shows up again, we use to wait instead of enjoying... 

Enjoy spring! Enjoy summer! Enjoy nature! Enjoy love!

Vama sub lumini de Oscar 2013
„Vama sub lumini de Oscar”, cel mai liber festival de fotografie, a ajuns la editia a IV-a si vă asteaptă între 16 si 24 august 2013 în Vama Veche, pentru a trăi experiente unice si a cunoaste oameni exceptionali. Si pentru că si în acest an dorim să dăm sansa cât mai multor pasionati să ia parte la cursuri, înscrierea la festival rămâne liberă, fără costuri de participare.
În acest an festivalul va avea trei sectiuni distincte: fotografie, film/video si târg de echipamente.
Fotografie:
Cursurile teoretice si cele practice vor fi construite pe 9 teme diferite sustinute de lectori specializati în fiecare dintre domeniile abordate.

În premieră va fi sustinut si un curs de „Tehnică fotografică” care se va întinde pe o perioada decinci zile si va fi sustinut atât de lectorii implicati în festival, cât si de departamentele tehnice ale Nikon, Dedolight, Sunbounce, Kinoflo etc.
Seminariile vor avea teme extrem de interesante si vor fi sustinute de:

Mareck Czarnecki – Digigraphie
Vlad Eftenie – Introducere în istoria fotografiei
Mihalis Moscholios – Henri Cartier Bresson – 10 lessons to learn…and/or ignore as outdated!
Nicolae Cosniceru – Fotograful amator, profesionist sau artist
Raluca Bogdan – Branding pentru fotografi
Florin Ghioca – Fotografia în zone de conflict

Pentru că VSLO sustine artistii tineri, vernisajele vor avea ca exponenti atât fotografi consacrati,cât si fotografi debutanti. În total, la "Vama sub lumini de Oscar" vor fi 15 vernisaje, printate cu sprijinul Epson România.
Proiectiile de fotografie vor avea loc în fiecare seară si vor fi, de asemenea, dedicate artistilor tineri.
Film/video:
Modulul de film/video, prezent pentru prima dată în cadrul festivalului „Vama sub lumini de Oscar” îsi propune combinarea unor cursuri teoretice si practice de regie, imagine si lumini, sunet si editare. Lectorii sunt reprezentati de:

Slava Cebotari – cel mai cunoscut DOP din Republica Moldova
Thomas Diseth – DOP din Norvegia, câstigător al unui premiu Emmy pentru film documentar
Bogdan Petrascu – editor Antena 1
Eduard Schneider – producător independent de reclame, documentare si clipuri muzicale
Dinu Margarint – DOP Televiziunea Română etc.

Echipamentele necesare desfăsurării workshop-ului vor fi puse la dispozitie de Nikon, Toshiba, Dedolight, 4K Broadcast Solutions, Sunbounce, A.F. Marcotec, Scheider Production.
Târgul de echipamente va reuni cele mai mari nume din domeniu foto/video si va avea loc pe toată perioada evenimentului. Vor exista oameni specializati care vor putea răspunde la orice întrebare de natură tehnică si, de asemenea, va exista un punct de „închiriere” a unor echipamente.

Small

We are so small creatures in this world. We don't need skyscrapers to notice it, take a look in the street and it's right there.

I have the feeling that, in general, people think that the bigger the better. Is it? A bigger building, a bigger house, a bigger car, a bigger... everything...

Are we happier? Do material things compensate the rest?

Apartment, house, office, restaurant, car... different shapes, but we spend so much of our life in boxes!

I would love to turn nature into one of my best friends! Sometimes the meaning of "outside" is much more better than "inside"!

And something funny I received today via email, together with a frog's "portrait": 

"I'm going to stand outside, so if anyone asks I am outstanding!". :) It simply made my day! Thanks! :)

Dreams are some of the very good things that happen to us! Don't be afraid to dream! 

Robin Sharma (again Robin Sharma... :)) says that if people aren't laughing at your dreams, your dreams aren't big enough!

Dream about tomorrow, live today! 

Dream about a better world and do something to change it! You will not change the world, but if we all gather our powers, we can do it! Small daily improvements over time lead to stunning results! (Robin Sharma) :)

We all have our star...

... and there is a fairy-tale for each of us!

I wrote and said it many times. If we really want something from the bottom of our heart, the entire Universe "works" for our dream to come true! I still believe it!

Positive thinking has a great contribution to all the good things that happen to us day by day.

We don't have to put down on a list hundreds of objectives. We will get tired just writing them and really exhausted reading then the list. Almost impossible to follow even 20% of them...

The ideal number is 10. 

Every year my list has 10 objectives out of which 1 top priority. All of them are easy to be measured and almost all are immaterial. I have been doing this exercise for 4 years already and it works. During the year re-visit your list, try to mark for each position a "success-rate".

Robin Sharma uses to say that the best moment to change something and become the greatest was long time ago. The second best moment to do it is now!

We use to complain about the world, about the environment, about the others... we should be the change that we look around us!

We all have our lucky star! I found mine! :)

Snowstorm

No snowstorm can make us stop from our way!
When we are down, we always find energy to stand up and go ahead!
It is not easy!

A wise man keeps telling me that "no" is not a solution, failure is not an option!
As long as we are healthy, we can conquer the world!
The power is in each of us! We just have to discover it and, the most important, use it properly!

Loneliness

Grateful 4...

There comes a time during the year when you allocate more time to meditation. More time to think about the persons you usually neglect because the tight schedule or too busy and that's it. 

There comes a time when you draw a line and look back to the past 12 months, trying to answer to some questions, different for each of us...

What was the major change in my life this year?

Who had the hugest impact on me this year?

Why did it happen?

There comes a time in your life when you find yourself, the way you are, the person you are! With amazing qualities and aspects that make the others sad, but those are not "dark sides"! With grumpy moods, but still adorable! With smiles and tears! Nobody is perfect, but who looks for such things and persons!

Grateful for all good things, grateful for all the miracles, grateful for health, grateful for smiles, grateful for you!

Like a snowstorm...

You are grateful, but so discreet... You want it to last forever, but who knows how long is forever?

It comes a morning when you wake up smiling and promise to yourself to do so each and every morning.
It comes a day when everybody is nice and kind because you impose yourself to see people like this… it starts from inside.
It comes a night when dreams are true and reality becomes a dream.

There is a time when your priorities are so clear and sharp, that no one can change anything. It comes that special moment, like a fairy-tale click, when it is so hard to remember any disappointment from the past or even present, when your anger, if ever been the case, is lost in the mist of thoughts.
It is just you, living 100%, no fears, no worries… or they are so insignificant that you cannot see them… you are happier, stronger and more confident than ever…

There is a time when you have more questions than answers… when you know that special person has the answers you do not have or you are a little bit afraid to pronounce them loudly… Fear kills your Dreams!
Don’t let the past steal your future today!
Don’t let the others choose for you!
Life is really a miracle! And so we should live it: like a magic gift!

Zambetul nu doare! :)

Mi-ar placea sa zambesc mai des. Mi-ar placea sa ma bucur mai mult in fiecare dimineata. De fiecare ora, minut, secunda, clipa.
Mi-ar placea sa vad numai lucrurile pozitive si sa ignor nuantele de gri si urat... sa asist pasiv la replicile acide... Cui ii folosesc? Mai ales cand vin de la persoane cu o credibilitate indoielnica si o vulgaritate care se asimileaza firii...
Mi-ar placea ca timpul sa astepte... oameni mai calzi, caractere sincere, actiuni dezinteresate, prietenii fara contabilitate si pozitii de bilant... sa nu mai auzim "dar mereu ne-am inteles atat de bine, apelam acum la intelegerea ta"... dar nu si-au adresat niciodata intrebarea daca a existat vreodata reciprocitate si nu numai "eu am nevoie, tu dai".
Dis-de-dimineata am fost la un hypermarket pentru cumparaturile "administrative" si plimbandu-ma printre rafturi in difuzor se auzea un mesaj de genul "... la fiecare 11 minute un client va castiga un premiu surpriza..." (Carrefour sarbatoreste 11 ani de prezenta in Romania). M-am gandit ca ar fi dragut sa castig! In timp ce ma aflam la casa 11 aud "clientul de la casa 11 a castigat un premiu surpriza". Casiera mi-a spus "va rog sa treceti cu bonul pe la receptie, ati castigat". In afara de o fata care exprima un "whatever..." si un "ok, multumesc"... nu cred ca am schitat niciun zambet. A fost un premiu simbolic, dar a fost util!!! :) Si numai ideea ca am castigat eu trebuia sa ma faca sa zambesc... :)
Maine e luni si desi se anunta o zi plina, mult prea plina pentru un inceput de saptamana, o sa zambesc mai mult, o sa vorbesc mai putin, o sa ascult mai atent, o sa filtrez mai calitativ... si o sa fie si mai fain daca dimineata la radio in drum spre birou o sa aud "Scapa-ma de ea" - noua piesa Vunk. Imi place! :)
